Dejan Devic

Dejan is an experienced aviation consultant specializing in air transport management. His professional career includes managerial and advisory roles at prominent airlines such as Jat Airways, Air Canada, and Air Serbia, as well as consulting work on projects with Bombardier Regional Aircraft. His educational credentials encompass an IATA International Aviation MBA, master degrees in Air Transport Engineering, IATA post-graduate diplomas in Air Law and Project Management, alongside with an IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) license.

He has held various instructional roles, including serving as an IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) Training Instructor, responsible for training personnel across all categories, from flight and cabin crew to ground operations and technical staff, with international trainees from countries like Italy, Switzerland, UK and Bulgaria. He also worked as the IATA Training Local Venue Coordinator in Serbia, while earlier in his career he was actively engaged in Sales, Pricing & Revenue Management and was appointed as the founding Head of Revenue Management and the Head of the CEO’s Cabinet.

In addition to his roles in commercial aviation, he has provided consultancy services for major EU infrastructure and transport initiatives, including the 2007-2013 IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) Adriatic as Project Assessor and Adviser for seven Southeast European countries. He also served as SEETO (now the Transport Community) Transport Planning Manager, with GOPA Consultants (Germany), where he contributed to strategic transportation plans across all modes in South-East Europe.

He is a frequent speaker at global aviation conferences, with a particular focus on air transport and tourism developments in the Euro-Mediterranean region. His professional affiliations included AGIFORS, ATRS, Hellenic Aviation Society, IATA and other aviation and transport organizations.
