The Journal of Air Transport Studies (JATS – ISSN:1791-6771) is a peer reviewed international scientific journal which aims at promoting high quality air transport scientific research predominantly in the areas of economics, geography, policymaking, management, marketing, operations, information communication technology (ICT), logistics/supply chain management and modelling.  Professor Dr Andreas Papatheodorou and Dr Kostas Iatrou act as the Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editor respectively; they are supported by an internationally esteemed Executive Editorial Board and a Reviewers and Advisory Board.

JATS publishes the following categories of papers: a) Full Research Papers, b) Conference Reports, c) Book Reviews, d) Industry Perspectives.  The Journal has been published uninterruptedly since 2010 on a biannual basis, i.e. in January and July.  The journal is published electronically by the Hellenic Aviation Society in English with the scientific support of TTIDD Laboratory of the University of the Aegean.
