Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer (acting) in Transport Studies at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She has a strong research background, having contributed to projects in Italy and the UK, including collaborations with local authorities and the UK Department for Transport. Her work encompasses cycling tourism, sustainable transport policies, and demand-responsive transport. She has experience in identifying and discussing targeted transport policies with interested stakeholders and policymakers through public events and workshops. Dr. Pantelaki has presented at various international conferences, actively contributing to discussions on sustainable transport and climate change policies. Dr. Pantelaki is a dedicated reviewer for several esteemed journals, including Journal of Air Transport Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Research in Transportation Economics, Research in Transportation Business and Management, and Journal of Transport and Health. She sits on the Editorial Boards of transportation academic journals such as Research in Transportation Business and Management, Journal of Air Transport Studies and Journal of Airline Operations and Aviation Management.
